Liftgate Applique Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the lift gate.
2. Grasp the forward outer edge of the applique at the bottom and unsnap the tabs along the forward edge of the applique.

Notice

Use caution when removing the applique to avoid damage to the lift gate.

3. Carefully remove the inner edge from under the lift gate glass encapsulated molding.

Installation Procedure

1. Fold the lift gate glass encapsulated molding over the entire length of where it meets the applique. Use masking tape to hold the molding in place while installing the applique.
2. Feed the inner edge of the applique underneath the lift gate glass encapsulated molding. Use the direction of bottom to top.
3. Press the outer edge of the applique to seat in place on the lift gate.
4. Close the lift gate.
5. Remove the masking tape.
