Window Replacement - Front Door Sedan/Window

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door . The outer door panel is removed in the illustration to show the location.
  2. Partially remove the water deflector to access the openings in the door structure.
  3. Lower the door window for access to the window insulators (slide clips).
  4. Depress the retaining clips on the window insulators (slide clips) and slide the sash from the window.
  5. Rotate the window, push up, and then remove from the door.
Installation Procedure

  1. Install the door window into the door and align the sash (1) with the window insulators (slide clips) (2).
  2. Slide the sash onto the window insulators (slide clips), then check the door window operation and alignment.
  3. Install the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
  4. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door .
