Input Shaft Roller (Quill) Bearing Removal

Tools Required
• SA9129T Support Fixture
• SA9128T Quill Bearing Remover
• 216916 Manual Transaxle Adaptor Pad

Notice

The clutch housing must be supported from underneath when pressing out the input shaft roller bearing. If the clutch housing is not supported, the housing may collapse.

1. Install the SA9129T with the Manual Transaxle Adapter Pad 216916 to clutch housing. After bolting to housing, tighten the large center screw until the adapter pad is snug against the housing.




2. Place the clutch housing on a press and install SA9128T into the bearing and press out the bearing.
3. If the clutch housing is to be reused:
• Remove the SA9129T and Manual Transaxle Adaptor Pad 216916.
• Clean the clutch housing.
• Carefully inspect the clutch housing for any cracks or other signs of damage.
