Handle Bezel Replacement - Inside - Rear

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the screw from the center of the inside door handle assembly.
2. Slide the door handle assembly forward while pulling outward from the trim panel.
3. If equipped with power door locks, remove the power door lock switch by releasing the retaining tabs, then disconnect the connector from the switch assembly.
4. Using a thin screwdriver, disengage the lock, latch rods, and actuator rod from the retainers at the door handle, if equipped with power door locks.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the door handle assembly into the trim panel. Tip the handle outward at the top.
2. Lift the latch, lock rods, and actuator rod, if equipped, into the retainers and latch the retainer clamps.
3. Push the handle into the trim panel and slide rearward to engage the tangs.
4. Install the power door lock switch, if equipped, and install the wiring connector.

Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

5. Install the screw in the handle. Tighten the screw.
Tighten

Tighten the inside door handle screw (Sedan/Wagon) to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).
