Differential Case Disassemble

1. Drive the roll pin out of differential housing and discard.
2. Remove the pinion shaft.
3. Rotate the pinion gears out of housing and remove.
4. Remove the side gears.
5. Remove the liner from housing.




6. Remove the differential side bearings.
• To remove the speed sensor side bearing, a bearing puller can be used.
• To remove the differential gear side bearing, use a two jaw puller. Place a shield over bearing to provide protection if bearing should break.
