Removal Procedure

The PCV valve is located in a snug fitting grommet on the engine cam cover. It is connected by a hose to the intake manifold.

1. Disconnect the PCV valve from the cam cover.

Notice

Inspect vacuum hose and cam cover grommet for deterioration and damage. There must be no air leakage between PCV valve and connecting hoses. Always replace with the correct part number valve.

2. Disconnect the valve from the hose to the intake manifold.

Installation Procedure

1. Connect the PCV valve to the intake hose and secure with a clamp.
2. Install the PCV valve to the cam cover grommet and the hose to intake manifold fitting.
