Roof Side Outer Rear Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear side door frame rear panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Frame Panel Replacement .
2. Remove 3 retaining screws from the roof side outer panel.
3. Slide the panel rearward and remove from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

Important

If replacing the roof side outer panel, masking of the panel foam sealing tape is critical. Ensure that none of the tape is painted on. This will ensure that the water management system works correctly.

1. Position the roof side outer panel. Slide the panel forward into place.

Notice

Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the 3 retaining screws.
Tighten

Tighten the roof side outer rear panel fasteners to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

3. Install the rear side door frame rear panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Frame Panel Replacement .
