Removal Procedure



1. Removethe accessory drive belt.
2. Remove the tensioner or idler pulley fastener and remove the pulley.
3. Coat the pulley attachment bolt threads with Saturn  P/N 21485277 Loctite 242® or equivalent. Replace the pulley and bearing as an assembly.
Tighten
• Tighten the belt tensioner-to-block to 30 N·m (22 lbs ft).
• Tighten the belt tensioner idler pulley bolt 27 N·m (20 lbs ft).
