Seat Belt Slide Bar Replacement - Coupe

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the seat belt slide bar attachment fasteners.
2. Remove the slide bar.

Installation Procedure

Important

Apply LOCTITE 242®, or equivalent, on all Restraint fasteners prior to installation.

Important

Make certain the cut and stitched side of the belt loop is facing outboard and the belt is straight as pictured.

1. Grasp the seat belt at the unattached end.
2. Rotate the belt loop inboard to the center of the vehicle 180 degrees rearward. Place loop over slide the bar as shown.

Notice

Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the slide bar and fasteners.
Tighten

Tighten the seat belt slide bar fasteners to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).
