Roof Drip Molding - Replacement Left Front

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the windshield frame filler panel by removing the screw, then sliding the panel upward.




2. Pry down on the window encapsulated molding on the window assembly rear side quarter to reveal the retaining screws.
3. Remove the retaining screws (2) behind the window encapsulated molding back into place.
4. Open the doors and remove the remaining retaining screws.
5. Remove the drip rail.
1. Carefully remove the rear end of the drip rail behind the rear quarter panel.
2. Remove the rear end of the drip rail from behind the window assembly rear side quarter panel.
3. Remove the front end of the drip rail from behind the front fender.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the roof front drip rail to the roof.
1. Insert the drip rail behind the front fender.
2. Insert the drip rail behind the rear quarter panel.

Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Loosely install the retaining screw (2) in the roof drip rail molding for the up/down location, then install the retaining screw (1) for the fore/aft location and tighten.
Tighten

Tighten the roof drip rail retaining screws to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

3. Tighten the position 1 first, then sequentially tighten the positions 2-10.
Tighten

Tighten the roof front drip molding to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).






Important

Use a countersink screw for the attachment of the windshield frame filler panel only.

4. Install the windshield frame filler panel by sliding downward and installing the retaining screw.
