Door Adjustment - Rear Sedan/Wagon

1. Note the original position of the door lock striker. Remove the striker. On the rear door DO NOT remove the stabilizer. The pin remains in place for the adjustment.
2. Loosen the hinge-to-hinge pillar bolts, up, down, forward or rearward.

3. Inboard or outboard adjustment can be done with the door to hinge bolts.
Tighten

Tighten the rear door hinge-to-door bolts (Sedan/Wagon) to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

4. Move the door within the door opening to achieve the best alignment and operation.
5. Install the striker to approximately the proper position.
6. Adjust the striker. If the striker is removed, make sure the proper amount of shims are in place. Check the seals for proper engagement.
Tighten

Tighten the rear door striker fasteners to 25 N·m (19 lb ft).
