Power Sunroof Module Alignment

1. Remove the headliner. Refer to Headliner Replacement in Interior Trim.

Notice

If the screws are too loose, it is possible that the glass panel will scratch the roof panel.

2. Slightly loosen the sunroof module fasteners.
3. Align the sunroof module by cycling the glass open and closed. In the closed position, the glass will center the module fasteners.

Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. With the glass fully closed, tighten the sunroof module fasteners.
Tighten

Tighten the sunroof-to-roof panel fasteners to 12 N·m (8 lb ft).

5. Install the headliner. Refer to Headliner Replacement in Interior Trim.
