Window Guide Channel Replacement - Front Door Sedan/Wagon

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door window. Refer to Window Replacement - Front Door . The outer door panel is removed in the illustration to show the location.
2. Remove the front door rear applique. Refer to Door Frame Applique Replacement - Rear .
3. Remove the front door window upper weatherstrip from the guide. Refer to Window Guide Channel Replacement - Front Door .
4. Partially remove the inner sealing strip (belt seal).
5. Partially remove the front door window secondary weatherstrip.
6. Remove the 2 rivets and 1 nut and remove the window guide.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the window guide with the 2 rivets using the Marson HP2 riveter, or equivalent. Press the riveter tip into the channel flush with the surface.

Notice

Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the nut to the guide.
Tighten

Tighten the front door rear window guide bolt to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

3. Install the front door window secondary weatherstrip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Front Door Upper Auxiliary .
4. Install the inner sealing strip (belt seal).
5. Install the front door window upper weatherstrip. Refer to Window Guide Channel Replacement - Front Door .
6. Install the front door rear applique. Refer to Door Frame Applique Replacement - Rear .
7. Install the front door window. Refer to Window Replacement - Front Door .
