Window Regulator Replacement - Rear Door

Removal Procedure

Notice

Be careful not to damage door sound insulator. Make sure all seals are properly positioned.

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door . The outer panel is removed in the illustration to show the location.
2. Remove the window. Refer to Window Replacement - Rear Door .
3. Disconnect the harness from the power regulator.
4. Loosen the regulator bolts and slide the regulator assembly out of the door.

Installation Procedure

1. Slide the regulator assembly into the door and position the regulator with the attachment bolts.
2. Install the window to the regulator assembly. Refer to Window Replacement - Rear Door .
3. Install the wiring harness connector to the motor.

Notice

Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Tighten the regulator assembly bolts.
Tighten

Tighten the rear window regulator bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

5. Check the regulator for proper operation.
6. Install the trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door .
