Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Outer Coupe

Removal Procedure

1. Remove fastener from sealing strip end cap.
2. Remove mirror trim panel and remove foam filler and loosen mirror.
3. Carefully lift up on outer sealing strip starting at rear and working forward.

Installation Procedure

1. Install by sliding forward end of sealing strip beneath mirror.
2. Align rear sealing strip end cap retainer with hole for end cap retaining screw.
3. Starting at rear of sealing strip, push sealing strip down onto flange until fully seated.

Notice

Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Tighten mirror attaching nuts.
Tighten

Tighten the outside rear view mirror nuts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

5. Install foam filler and mirror trim panel.
6. Install sealing strip fastener.
