Seat Belt Guide Replacement - Front SC2

Removal Procedure

1. Slide the seat belt webbing through the slit on the shoulder belt guide.




2. Remove the headrest.
1. Raise the headrest assembly to the full up position.
2. Push the headrest lever towards the rear of the vehicle.
3. Pull the headrest out of the seatback.




3. Remove the fasteners from underneath the headrest support rods.
4. Slide the seat belt guide down from the headrest support rods.

Installation Procedure

1. Slide the seat belt guide over the headrest support rods.

Notice

Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the fasteners to attach the seat belt guide to the headrest.
Tighten

Tighten the seat belt guide headrest fasteners to 5 N·m (44 lb in).





3. Install the headrest.
1. Align the headrest support rods with the holes in the seatback.
2. Push the headrest lever toward the rear of the vehicle.
3. Push the headrest into the seatback.




4. Slide the seat belt webbing through the slit on the shoulder belt guide.
