Hood Release Lever Replacement RHD Domestic

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the hood release handle assembly fasteners.
2. Remove the hood release handle assembly.
3. Remove the hood release cable from the lever.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the hood release cable to the handle assembly.
2. Install the hood release handle assembly to the filler panel.

Notice

Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the hood release handle assembly fasteners.
Tighten

Tighten the hood release lever-to-I/P filler panel fastener to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).
