Sunroof Drain Hose Replacement - Rear

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the headliner. Refer to Headliner Replacement in Interior Trim.
2. Disconnect the sunroof rear drain hose from the sunroof module.




3. Remove the appropriate side rear quarter panel. Refer to "Quarter Outer Panel" removal procedure in Body Rear End.




4. Remove the grommet from the spaceframe.
5. Disconnect the rear drain hose from the grommet.
6. Pull the hose out of the spaceframe through the access in the lock pillar area.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the drain hose by feeding it downward from the upper drain hose opening of the spaceframe. The hose will appear in the lower drain hose opening in the lock pillar area.
2. Pull the hose through the lower spaceframe opening, far enough to install the grommet.




3. Install the hose to the grommet and the grommet into the lower spaceframe opening.




4. Connect the upper end of the hose to the sunroof module.

Important

Inspect the drain hose for kinks. If necessary, cut the hose to the required length to ensure that the hose is not kinked.

5. Pour water down from the sunroof tray and inspect for leaks. Repair if a leak is detected.




6. Install the rear quarter panel. Refer to "Quarter Outer Panel" installation procedure in Body Rear End.
7. Install the headliner. Refer to Headliner Replacement in Interior Trim.
