Window Channel Replacement - Rear Door Front

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door . The outer panel is removed in the illustration to show the location.
2. Remove the door window. Refer to Window Replacement - Rear Door .
3. Remove the rear door frame outer seal. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Outer .
4. Remove the bolt, drill out the rivets, and remove the window guide.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the window guide with new rivets and attach the lower bolt loosely.
2. Install the rear door frame outer seal. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Outer .
3. Install the door window and check for proper operation and alignment. Refer to Window Replacement - Rear Door .

Notice

Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Tighten the window guide.
Tighten

Tighten the rear door front window guide bolt (Sedan/Wagon) to 7.5 N·m (67 lb in).

5. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door .
