Sunroof Glass Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Power the sunroof to the vent position.
2. Remove the 6 screws attaching the sunroof glass to the module, and remove the glass.

Installation Procedure

1. Set the glass in position on the sunroof module.
2. Apply Loctite Small Screw Threadlocker 222®, or equivalent, to the sunroof glass attaching screws and install.
3. With the sunroof in the closed position, adjust the glass to 1 mm (0.040 in) below the surface of the roof at the front, and 1 mm (0.040 in) above the roof surface at the rear.

4. Tighten the bolts.
Tighten

Tighten the sunroof glass-to-sunroof bolts to 3 N·m (27 lb in).
