The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in the PI.
DRLs may be inoperative requiring part replacement. Described below are the locations of the DRL logic based on model year.
DRL Logic Location:
1996 mechanical - I/P cluster housing (gauges removable - YES)
1997, 1998 mechanical - speedometer/odometer head
1998, 1999 digital - I/P cluster assembly (gauges removable - NO)

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
