Door Striker Replacement - Front Door

Removal Procedure

1. Using a soft marker, mark around the striker for installation purposes.
2. Remove the screws, remove the striker and striker shim if present.

Installation Procedure

1. Loosely install the striker and striker shim, if present, with screws.
2. Align the striker with marks made prior to removal.
3. Tighten the screws.
4. Check the door closing and align the striker as required.

Notice

Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

5. Tighten the striker screws.
Tighten

Tighten the door striker front bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb in).
