Release Cable Replacement - Liftgate

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the lift gate lower inner trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Panel Assembly - Inner Lower in Interior Trim.
2. Disconnect the cable end from the lock cylinder housing.
3. Disconnect the cable from the latch.
4. Remove the latch cable from inside the lift gate.

Installation Procedure

1. Connect the cable to the latch assembly.
2. Connect the cable to the lock cylinder.
3. Replace the lift gate lower inner trim panel.
4. Close the lift gate and test for proper operation.
