Mirror Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove mirror trim panel (1) by pulling outward.
2. Loosen set screw and disconnect cable from trim panel on manual mirror.
3. Remove the mirror insulator, right side shown, left typical.




4. Remove foam filler from door frame.
5. Disconnect harness connector if side power electric mirror.




6. Remove nuts from mirror assembly and remove mirror and seal.

Installation Procedure

1. Install seal on mirror assembly.
2. If equipped with right side power mirror, connect electrical connector.

Notice

Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install mirror assembly to door. Install nuts and tighten.
Tighten

Tighten the Outside Rear View Mirror Nuts 10 N·m (89 lb in).

4. Install foam filler to door frame.
5. Install mirror cable into trim panel and tighten set screw on manual mirror.
Tighten

Tighten the Manual Mirror Cable-to-Trim Panel Set Screw to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

6. Install trim panel to door frame.
