Latch Striker Replacement - Liftgate

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the lower trim panel from the lift gate.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
3. Disconnect the lock cable from the latch.
4. Remove the latch to lift gate fasteners.
5. Remove the latch.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the latch on the lift gate.

Notice

Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the latch with the fasteners.
Tighten

Tighten the lift gate latch-to-lift gate fasteners to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

3. Connect the lock cable.
4. Connect the electrical connector.
5. Replace the lift gate lower trim panel.
