Window Replacement - Front Door Coupe

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door .
2. Remove the speaker.
3. Partially remove the water deflector to access the openings in the door structure.




4. Lower the window to access the window insulator (slide clip) retention tabs. If the regulator has failed in the full up position, lower the window and regulator as an assembly.




5. Disengage the front slide clip from the sash by depressing the retention tab and sliding the sash (1) forward. Repeat for rearwindow insulator (slide clip) (2).




6. When the window is disconnected, rotate and remove from the door.

Installation Procedure

Important

Before installing the door window, clear the window guide of any debris.

1. Install the door window into the door, aligning the sash with the window insulators (slide clips) and the window with the guides.
2. Slide the sash rearward onto the window insulators (slide clips).
3. Check the operation and alignment of the door window.




4. Install the speaker.
5. Install the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
6. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door .
