Weatherstrip Replacement - Front Door 1st Design Sedan/Wagon-Coupe Similar

Removal Procedure

1. Partially remove hinge pillar garnish molding.
2. Remove weatherstrip from door opening by starting at the seal joint at the bottom of the door opening. Separate the seal at the joint, noting this position.
3. Pull this seal loose slowly.

Installation Procedure

1. Clean old adhesive off of flange area.
2. Start seal over flange area in upper rear corner. Install seal plug to other side when the joint is reached and firmly seat seal over the flange.

Important

For proper sealing, rigid portion of bulb part of weatherstrip (approximately 140 mm [5 1/2 in]) must be located at top rear corner shown in illustration.

3. Install hinge pillar garnish molding.
