Service Information on New Torque Specification for Front Seat Adjuster to Vehicle Bolts.

1991 -- 1999 Saturns

Purpose:

This bulletin provides technical information on changes to the torque specifications for front seat adjuster to vehicle bolts. The specification provided within this bulletin supercedes the specification available in prior versions of the Body/Repair Service Manuals and Quick Reference Manuals

Correction:

Important: Bolts require Loctite ® 242 Threadlocker, P/N 21485277 (or equivalent) prior to installation.

New front seat Adjuster to vehicle bolt torque:

Tighten

Tighten bolt to 30 N·m (22 lb ft) ( Graphic SMBIS63760AG1)
