Stop Lamp Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the stop lamp switch electrical connectors.
  2. Remove the attachment nut and remove the switch.
Installation Procedure
  1. Install the stop lamp switch tab and stud through the steering column support.
  2. Install and tighten the nut.
    3. Tighten

    Tighten the nut to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connectors.
  4. Inspect the switch. Refer to Stop Lamp Switch Adjustment .
