Hood Adjustment

Adjustment Procedure
1. Adjust hood by loosening hinge to body bolts. Position as needed.
2. Adjust the hood up and down at the rear by loosening the hinge to the hood bolts and position the hood as needed.
3. Adjust the hood up and down at the front by adjusting the hood latch and hood the bumpers.

Notice

Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Tighten the hinge bolts and the latch bolts when adjustments are complete.
Tighten
• Tighten the head hinge-to-body bolts to 25 N·m (19 lb ft).
• Tighten the head hinge-to-hood bolts to 25 N·m (19 lb ft).
• Tighten the hood latch to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
