When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.
In-line A/C filters from Bulletin 01-01-38-006B are no longer available.
Please be advised that part numbers 52474432, 52474433, 52474434 and 52474435 are no longer available. The vender discontinued making this part. The bulletin author is looking into a alternate source for these products. The only filters that are currently available are "Pancake" style filters. They are available in 3/8 inch only. The part numbers are 52450767 with orifice and 52450924 without orifice. Note: These filters are larger than the "Sausage" type and may not work in all applications.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed. If these steps do not resolve the condition, please contact GM TAC for further diagnostic assistance. This diagnostic approach was developed for the vehicle with the VIN you entered and should not be automatically be used for other vehicles with similar symptoms.
