Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Vacuum Control Solenoid Valve Replacement

Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the air pump solenoid harness connector.
  2. Remove the vacuum hoses.
  3. Remove the bolt.
  4. Remove the air pump solenoid.
Installation Procedure

  1. Install the air pump solenoid.
  2. Install and torque the bolt.
    3. Tighten

    Tighten the air pump solenoid bolt 3.4 N·m (30 lb in).

  3. Install the vacuum hoses.
  4. Connect the air pump solenoid harness connector. Push in the connector until a click is heard and pull back to confirm a positive engagement.
