Disassembly Procedure

1. While holding the fan, remove the fan to motor nut (left hand thread) and pull the fan off of the motor shaft.
2. Remove the screws holding the fan motor to the shroud.
3. Remove the motor from the fan shroud.

Assembly Procedure

1. Install the motor in the shroud.

Notice

Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install and tighten the fan motor-to-shroud screws.
Tighten

Tighten the fan motor-to-shroud screws to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

3. Install the fan on the motor shaft.
4. Install and torque the fan nut.
Tighten

Tighten the fan nut to 3-5 N·m (27-44 lb in).
