Motor Replacement - Power Mirror

Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the mirror glass. Refer to Mirror Face Replacement .
3. Remove the interior trim cover.
4. Remove the foam filler.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the door harness. Remove the attaching screws.
6. Unseat the harness grommet and remove the motor.

Installation Procedure

1. Connect the electrical connector and the seat grommet.
2. Install the foam filler.
3. Install the motor.

Notice

Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the screws and tighten.
Tighten

Tighten the Power Mirror Motor Screw 3 N·m (27 lb in).





5. Snap the mirror glass assembly onto the motor. Refer to Mirror Face Replacement .
6. Install the trim cover.
7. Connect the negative battery cable.
8. Set the clock.
