Vacuum Harness Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the air intake tube and air box cover.
2. Remove the accelerator control cable bracket attaching bolts.




3. Disconnect the vacuum harness from the EVAP canister purge solenoid.

Important

Inspect the vacuum harness connectors for deterioration. Replace the vacuum harness if damaged.

4. Remove the vacuum harness from the throttle body by unclipping the 2 tangs and lifting it upward.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the throttle body vacuum harness connector.
2. Connect the vacuum harness to the EVAP canister purge solenoid.

Important

See the diagram to ensure proper routing and connection of the vacuum lines.

3. Install the accelerator control cable bracket attaching screws.
Tighten

Tighten the screws to 13 N·m (115 lb in).

4. Install the air intake tube and air box cover.
5. Start the engine and check for vacuum leaks.
