Seat Belt Buckle Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure

Important

LHD shown, RHD similar.

1. Remove the seat from the vehicle.
2. For the driver's seat, remove the bolt from the seat side mount buckle unit and remove the seat side mount buckle unit wire attaching clip. Remove the seat side mount buckle unit from the vehicle.
3. For the passenger's seat, remove the bolt from the seat side mount buckle unit and remove the seat side mount buckle unit from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

LHD shown, RHD similar.

1. For the driver's seat, secure the seat side mount buckle unit wire with the attaching clip. Route wire in front of the seat inner adjuster assembly mounting bracket.

Notice

Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. For the driver's and passenger's seat, position the seat side mount buckle unit 25 degrees forward of vertical to side of the seat and install bolt.
Tighten

Tighten the seat side mount buckle bolts to 75 N·m (55 lb ft).

3. Install the seat.
