Lock Striker Replacement - Liftgate

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the inner sill trim. Refer to Finish Panel Replacement - Rear End Sill Molding in Interior Trim.
2. Mark the striker location on the body with a grease pencil.
3. Remove the striker to body fasteners.
4. Remove the striker.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the striker with the bolts.
2. Carefully close the lift gate and inspect the alignment.

Notice

Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Loosen the fasteners and adjust as necessary.
Tighten

Tighen the lift gate striker fasteners to 25 N·m (19 lb ft).

4. Replace the inner sill trim.
