Washer Pump/Reservoir Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect wiring harness from pump.
2. Remove fastener attaching solvent container.





Notice

Use caution when removing hoses from washer system components to avoid spilling washer fluid on painted surfaces.

3. Lift solvent container and release lower attachment tab on bottle.
4. Remove fluid hose from pump, making sure to capture spilling solvent.
5. Remove solvent container from vehicle.
6. Empty fluid from solvent container into a holding container and remove pump from fluid bottle by pulling firmly on pump.

Installation Procedure

Notice

Do not reuse washer fluid as debris may clog the system.

1. Install washer pump to solvent container.
2. Install fluid hose to pump.
3. Position solvent container into location and engage attachment tab.




4. Install fastener attaching solvent container.
5. Connect wiring harness to pump.
6. Fill solvent container with washer solvent.
7. Check that pump operates properly.
