Heater Core To Pipe Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure

Notice

Cut only deep enough to separate the crimp ring. Take care not to cut the pipe.

Important

When cutting crimp ring, cut at 30 degree angle to centerline of hose.

1. Use hacksaw to cut crimp ring.
2. Use a flat head screwdriver to separate and remove crimp ring from hose.
3. Remove heater hose from pipe.

Installation Procedure

1. Install thermostat hose on pipe.
2. Install new clamp on hose. Position clamp at 11 o'clock.
