- Adjust the deck lid cross-car by loosening the hinge to the rear window lower
panel nuts and positioning as needed.
- Adjust the deck lid fore and aft and up and down at the front by loosening
the deck lid to the hinge arm bolts and positioning as needed.
- Adjust up and down at the rear by adjusting the striker up and down. Refer
to
Lock Striker Replacement - Lift Gate
.

- Tighten the hinge to the rear window lower panel nuts.
TightenTighten the rear compartment lid hinge-to-rear window lower panel nuts (Sedan/Coupe)
to 25 N·m (19 lb ft).
- Tighten the deck lid-to-hinge arm bolts.
TightenTighten the rear compartment deck lid-to-hinge arm bolts to 10 N·m
(89 lb in).
- Tighten the latch striker bolts when the adjustments are complete.
TightenTighten the rear compartment latch striker bolts (Sedan/Coupe) to 10 N·m
(89 lb in).
